FAQs

ANSWERS TO SOME OF OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A VENUE COORDINATOR AND A WEDDING COORDINATOR?

A: A venue coordinator oversees the on site staff at your venue, to make sure they are fulfilling their contractual obligations, serving food on time, etc.
A lot of times the venue coordinator is not there for the duration of the event and/or they have other events they oversee on property at the same time. A wedding coordinator works only for you to make every aspect run smoothly, greets all your vendors, and sends out a timeline prior to your big day, and ensures you have a great time celebrating while ensuring your vision is a reality.

Q: WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A WEDDING PLANNER AND A WEDDING COORDINATOR?

A: A wedding planner will be involved during your entire planning process and assists in making critical wedding decisions regarding venue selection, menu selection, color palette, etc.; while a wedding coordinator is focused on the coordination of the logistics of the wedding day, ensuring all the details are executed and that your vendors show up on time and perform their responsibilities as necessary.

Q: WHEN SHOULD I TYPICALLY START MEETING WITH A DAY OF COORDINATOR?

A: Meeting with your day of coordinator can start at anytime during your planning process, dependent on your package consultations allotted. Typically most coordination meetings take place about three months before the big day.

Q: WHERE DOES MOST OF YOUR BUSINESS
COME FROM?

A: Referrals are a big part of the success of my business. I get a lot of leads from past couples referring their friends and family to me, which is a huge compliment. I also get referrals from other vendors such as photographers, DJs, florists, and videographers that I've worked with.

Q: HIRING A WEDDING COORDINATOR IS EXPENSIVE, CAN'T MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS
HELP OUT?

A: A wedding coordinator is an investment in making sure your wedding day is beautiful and flawless while taking that stress and duty off you and your family. Just like you, your family and friends want to enjoy the day and celebrate with you rather than working your event for you.

Q: WHAT IS NUELLEWED EVENTS?

A: Nuellewed Events is a day of wedding coordination service catering to couples in the
St. Louis, MO area and beyond.

Q: CAN WE HIRE YOU AS SOON AS WE GET ENGAGED OR SHOULD WE WAIT?

A: As soon as you get engaged is recommended. Dates are booked well in advance and the sooner we begin coordinating, the better! If you are interested in the Forever In Love package, I recommend booking with me as soon as you
have your date and venue secured.

Q: HOW DO I SCHEDULE A CONSULTATION OR BOOK A DATE WITH YOU?

A: By emailing, calling, or filling out the contact form above on the website. I will schedule a complimentary, no obligation consultation with you to make sure we are a good fit and that I can meet your coordination needs. Most consultations take about 1 hour.

Q: WILL YOU WORK WITH VENDORS I SELECT, OR ONLY THOSE YOU RECOMMEND?

A: We will absolutely work with vendors you select; however, I have a great list of vendor recommendations that I work with regularly, should you need any referrals.

Q: WHAT PAYMENT TYPES DO YOU ACCEPT?

A: I accept cash, checks, or Venmo for payment. Payment plans are offered for all coordination packages.

Q: WHAT AREAS DO YOU SERVICE AND DO YOU HAVE A TRAVEL FEE?

A: I service couples in the St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas. I love seeing new cities and
am available for travel and destination weddings. Wedding coordination booked outside a X mile radius of the St. Louis, MO area will incur a travel fee to be determined based on the travel distance, necessary lodging, transportation, etc.
